Tabbie is a personal and travel expense-splitting bookkeeping app. We take your privacy seriously.

What we collect

We (the developer) do not collect, transmit, or receive any of your personal data or bookkeeping data.

Tabbie has no server of its own, no account system, and no analytics or third-party tracking.

Where your data lives

• The data you enter (amounts, categories, accounts, transactions, split groups, etc.) is stored only locally on your device.
• If you are signed in to iCloud and enable sync, your data is backed up to your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) for syncing across your own devices. This data is held by Apple under its terms and is not accessible to the developer.

Permissions

• Camera: used only to scan e-invoice QR codes to auto-fill amount and date. Images are processed on-device in real time and are not uploaded or stored.
• Location: used only when logging a foreign-currency entry, to determine your current country for the "travel footprint" feature. Location data is used on-device only and is never sent to the developer or any third party.

Network

The app requests public exchange rates from a third-party rates service. This request contains none of your personal data or bookkeeping content.

Purchases & Subscriptions

Tabbie Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or receive your payment information (card numbers, etc. are handled entirely by Apple). Your subscription and redemption status is stored only locally on your device. Apple may provide the developer with anonymized, aggregated sales statistics under its own terms; these contain no information that personally identifies you.

Children

This app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
